The first task was titled 'Space and Context'. This means we were asked to discover a visually interesting place where we would scrutinize and find new elements to photograph. 

 

I knew I wanted to create images with interesting architecture which Bath is famous for and its Roman buildings as well as picturesque scenes. After searching through the town I couldn't find anything that really stood out to me. 

 

I then visited the town again and walked through with an open mind and photographed interesting places on my mobile phone to take note and if I couldn't find anything I would go back to these specific places. 

 

Developing and printing the film was exciting because it was great to see the images appear on the paper. Editing and adjusting the contrast was great fun too!

 

The place that I found interesting was a side street where all the bins from the shops out the back were. I photographed this in a peculiar way where it was referred to CCTV footage because the images were similar however different. They were taken from the left, right angles with slight changes which I found quite interesting.
