LANDSCAPE
This was my final project of the year and I really wanted to focus on the Mumbles in Swansea. I wanted to focus on this area because I recently moved there over a year ago and it is somewhere that I have travelled to when I was younger so it holds childhood memories with me.

To photograph this in a different light and show the culture and history ranging from the cottages to the pier to the small markets and independent shops to the beach around the corner.

This was exciting to photograph because I went out in all different kinds of light and the outcome was very good. By going out and shooting in various lights is important for a budding photographer as it creates a new dimension to your work.

It was not only important to create these images but to also create a landscape book which captured the essence of a small village slowly turning into a capitalised modern town. I wanted to photograph this before it changed and all the history and culture have disappeared.

I hope to continue with this project in my spare time as it means a lot to me.
